Unloan, a new dgital home loan built by Commbank was new to the market and needed to make a statement in a highly competitive refinance market.

CONCEPT

Interest rates were rapidly on the rise, Australian's everywhere were feeling the pinch. Strange thing was, too many people were sitting back, doing nothing about it. So the idea was simple, get people to see how ridiculous ignoring such an obvious problem was, especially when the solution is right in front of you.

We drew in our audience visually by hamming up the problem, we converted them by presenting Unloan as the simple solution to undo it.

The campaign saw people crunched and un-crunched in a different way in every single format custom to the shape and size. We saw people cramped in banners, billboards, digital display. You name it we had a crunch to fit.

Results.

By the end of the campaign Unloan went from out of nowhere to become the second largest digital provider in Australia and the fastest growing provider in history.

Unprompted awareness went from 0% to 5%. After 6 months of running some of the core assets maintained an 60%+ completion rate.
